Responsibilities

This is a Senior Level Position. It is required that the IT Operations Manager have the following certification: ITIL Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certifications and the DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.

  • Executes defined strategies and tactics required to meet business area objectives for growth, profitability, and effective contract performance.
  • Manages fiscal, personnel, and material resources associated with contracted efforts within assigned business areas.
  • Reviews and approves project budgets, plans, and schedules to ensure compliance with company Project Planning and Reporting standards and sound business practices.
  • Meets with clients, representatives of other companies, vendors, subcontractors, government agencies, etc., typically at the middle management level to present organization views, or discuss contract changes.
  • As required, directly manages complex contracts requiring significant management skills and experience.
  • Participates in the development of corporate annual operating plans.
  • Fully follows established company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in strict accordance with legal and ethical practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications

This is a Senior Level Position. It is required that the IT Operations Manager have the following certification: ITIL Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certifications and the DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 15 years experience.
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certification.
  • DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • At least 15 years' experience of progressively greater authority and responsibility, in the IT operations or IT infrastructure operations fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the IT operations or IT infrastructure operations of a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope.
  • Demonstrated experience improving the IT operations or IT infrastructure operations of a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope.
  • Demonstrated ability for quality oral and written communication relevant to IT operation or IT infrastructure operations.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

  • Sitting for long periods.
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Ambulate throughout an office.
  • Ambulate between several buildings.
