Job Description Summary:This position is responsible for technology, network, and software needs of the organization and strives to provide excellent service to all users so that front-line ministry can take place without disruption. Specific areas include: problem solving, critical thinking, and solid people skills in the form of providing technical support to users. The role is cross-functional and will be expected to gain competency in various areas including but not limited to: enterprise software platforms, networking, workstation, device management, cloud services, and phone systems. Job Description:Job Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for the IT team for staff seeking technical help or assistance
- Provide excellent customer service to all staff and users who interact with the IT team
- Communicate effectively with staff to provide personalized support
- Walk staff through any technical issues assigned to you in the following areas: enterprise software platforms, networking, workstation, device management, cloud services, and phone systems
- Determine the best solution for the issue based on details from the user and troubleshooting
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support staff
- Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Document support interactions in Help Desk tickets
- Responsible for other tasks as directed
Job Qualifications- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent years of experience is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Information Technology field preferred
- A+ or Network+ certification is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills required
- Experience with Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, JumpCloud, Cisco, and Meraki is considered beneficial
- Experience with digital mixers, projectors, speakers, amps, and other Audio Visual equipment or a desire to learn Audio Visual is preferred
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Continuous learner with the ability to acquire new technical information quickly
- Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Faith
- Maintain compliance with all Pine Cove policies and procedures during employment including the Staff Policy Handbook
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws
- Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers, and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
- Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence
- Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude
- Possess current driver's license and able to drive company vehicles as needed
