Position Title: IT Project Manager - Facilities and Real Estate Focus Location: Ideally MN
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with extensive experience in facilities management, real estate, and Merger and Acquisition (M&A) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT infrastructure projects in a facilities and real estate context, preferably with experience working with CBRE (Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis). This role will focus on the IT integration of facilities being acquired in an M&A project, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT projects related to facilities and real estate during M&A activities.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and acquired facility teams.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.
- Facilities and Real Estate Integration:
- Assess the IT infrastructure of acquired facilities to identify integration needs.
- Plan and execute the migration and integration of IT systems, including networks, servers, and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards and security policies during integration.
- Oversee the setup and configuration of IT infrastructure in newly acquired facilities.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with real estate partners to coordinate IT requirements for facilities.
- Manage relationships with vendors providing IT services and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the M&A process.
- Conduct post-integration reviews to assess success and identify improvement areas.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Provide training and support to facility staff on new IT systems and processes.
- Ensure all documentation is in line with corporate standards and easily accessible.
Qualifications - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
- Significant experience in facilities management and real estate.
- Proven experience in managing IT aspects of M&A projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
