Ideal candidate will be located near Naperville, IL office to participate in project meetings with internal stakeholders.JOB SUMMARY: Apply principles, techniques and best practices in the planning, organizing and implementation of projects by preparing and managing project documentation, deliverables, milestones, resource management and schedules. Partner with IT to promote open lines of communication and adherence to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards and processes. Must have experience leading software development projects for finance products. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serve as Project Manager for the implementation of system projects due to new, enhanced or integrated functionality as well as the introduction of new product offerings. 2. Initiate, plan, execute, control and close project activities. 3. Define and verify scope, develop project plans and timetables, and create roles and responsibilities matrix 4. Develop work plans for each subproject/department and prepare summary for management review. 5. Execute and maintain project plans; review, track, monitor and report on project status; identify, track and resolve issues by proposing viable solutions. 6. Calculate, mitigate and monitor risk, creating contingency plans and advising management, as appropriate. 7. Perform defect management 8. Establish and maintain working relationship with all departments, stakeholders and external customers involved with project. 9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. 10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. 11. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role. JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management capacity preferably in a fast paced, rapidly changing business and technology environment. Experience in a Project Management Organization preferred.
- Experience in managing IT projects for finance products. Successfully implementing new technologies, work processes, process improvements.
- Minimum 2 years of increasing experience with on premise and cloud based accounting systems e.g. Great Plains, SAP S/4HANA, preferred.
- Experience and understanding of Finance principles, general Accounting processes and data needs, including USGAAP, AP, AR, revenue recognition, cash management and financials.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (SCM) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification (or working towards it) preferred
- Must have knowledge of broad range project methodologies and best practices for requirements definition and management including Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, and SDLC.
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with the healthcare claim processing preferred.
- Communication (oral, written and listening), project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills.
- Ability to use software and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Project and Project Server.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and cooperative relationships throughout the organization.
- Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements.
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow-through.

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 years of related experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (or working towards it) preferred.
COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $110K to $115K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
