Job Description: As an IT Project Manager, Senior, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing complex IT projects within deadlines and budget. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality project deliverables. You will define project objectives, oversee all aspects from initiation to delivery, and manage relationships with internal teams and third-party contractors. This fully seasoned role is designed for professionals capable of independently managing larger and more complex projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects involving network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, and other IT deployments.
- Collaborate with IT staff and stakeholders to define project requirements and conduct feasibility assessments.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, track progress, and monitor change control, testing, and documentation.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals and coordinate with senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and timely communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, analyze status reports, troubleshoot issues, and update project stakeholders regularly.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful elements and areas for improvement, contributing to best practices.
- Estimate resource requirements, submit budget proposals, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Manage project personnel, resolve team conflicts, and oversee task delegation and dependency tracking.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans for potential crises.
- Mentor and support project team members, fostering accountability and positive action within the team.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of project management concepts, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficiency with personal computers, connectivity, networking, and IT system assessment.
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage projects independently, build relationships, and lead project teams effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with specific experience as a team or project lead.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent experience), with 5-8 years of experience in IT project management.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build effective relationships across the organization.
