SummaryThe IT Project Manager will liaise with business partners to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals while coordinating internal and external resources to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget. This role analyzes project progress and, when necessary, adapts scope or timeline to achieve optimal results including achieving organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices. Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirements. Projects typically consist of internally built platforms or COTS.
  • Develop and maintain project performance plan that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan.
  • Serve as point of communication between internal IT resources and external stakeholders.
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
  • Scrum Master experience (removing blocks, identifying dependencies, etc.)
  • Five or more years of experience in IT project coordination within the healthcare industry. Past experience with digital transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating teams and clients.
  • Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) preferred.
