About The Opportunity Onsite position, may be based in Gardiner, ME or Auburn, NH Reports to: Business Systems Manager As IT Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The IT Project Manager also provides regular detailed project information on performance and schedule to stakeholders with project management software, tools and periodic reports. What you will be doing: Coordinate and maintain process governance Seeks out organizational and technical knowledge and industry trends to identify alternative approaches/solutions Maintain Master Project Plan, scope, and budget Maintain documentation of project decisions Work closely with team leads to manage project scope and team member hours Use the best methodology for the type of project managed (approach, template documents, time-tracking) Continually optimize our technology and operations cost Creates reporting mechanisms and tracking methodologies Support long term adoption and improvement strategy Support the definition and rollout of change management activities associated with new processes in partnership with management and business partners Ensure understanding, commitment and application among all strategic decision makers for the successful application of best practice project management and problem solving Accountable for project deliverable to be in time, in budget and agreed specifications within the scope of your responsibility Flagging any potential gaps in scope, business case, risk assessments and the definition of roles & responsibilities Translating data into relevant information and to link data sources to business requirements and potential productivity savings Ensure timely completion of projects with successful implementations considering all stakeholders with early identification and mitigation of potential risks and issues Provides project status to manager providing recommendations as needed Identify resource needs and tracks their effort to the task Perform other duties as assigned In order to be successful in this role, here is what we will need from you: Strong ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment Project Management certification (e.g. PMI, ScrumMaster, etc) Content-oriented/process-oriented Effective presentation, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, project and program management skills Manage and drive multiple projects at the same time Highly collaborative leadership & communication style About You You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology or relevant work experience. You are highly detail-oriented and are able to consistently meet important deadlines while also effectively communicating progress to team members. Your effective management skills will ensure a smoothly coordinated process that produces desired results.
