Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager IT to join our team. This position facilitates the events and processes and assists the teams in delivering value by fostering team project management best practices. The role embodies the continuous improvement mindset and strives to improve this all in a robust way, relentlessly. You will work in strong collaboration with Software Development Life-cycle, System Architecture, Business Readiness Managers as well as stakeholders and vendors. You will oversee project delivery and work with the teams to continuously improve to deliver the best value in the most sustainable time frame.

- Analyze data and reports to shape implementation plans and solutions for assigned projects
- Assumes responsibility for all project phases and works directly with the business and third-party vendors in accomplishing project milestones
- Autonomously solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
- Collaborate with Rotech training team members to coordinate development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable business readiness and a successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to end users within various departments
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Develop and manage centralized, comprehensive project plans for assigned projects including estimation of work effort for associated project plans
- Develops strategies around improving performance and results
- Document procedures to monitor the progress of the project and to take corrective action when necessary
- Draft presentations, briefings, and updates to key internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate change requests to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Identify and manage project risks and communicate appropriately with project stakeholders to avoid and mitigate potential issues
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the PMO, IT and in cross-department work toward strategic goals
- Identify and monitor project milestones across departments and working teams
- Lead day-to-day operations of assigned projects
- Manages forecasting and tracking of resources, project costs and budget
- Manages project team capacity and supports resource capacity planning
- Manages project team members throughout the project execution life-cycle
- Manages the ideation process including management of the portfolio of project abstracts which include project objectives, scope, strategy, technical details, milestones, risk analysis and cost estimates
- Monitor compliance of standard PMO methodologies, processes and tools
- Prepare for and lead cross-functional meetings, including weekly managers meetings, work-group meetings and other meetings as assigned
- Provide input on project work streams and design of key deliverables, (e.g., application system improvements, policies)
- Provide written updates on all projects as assigned. Compile data and generate status reports to project team members and leadership
- Recommends process and/or service improvements based on understanding and anticipation of internal and external business challenges
- Track outcomes and progress for all assigned projects on common dashboards and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner to appropriate leadership
- Performs other duties as assigned
Travel
- Travel occasionally via airplane and/or vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems,?accounting, finance, or related field or relevant work experience, required
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Previous management experience
- Project management courses and/or Project Management Institute (PMP) certification preferred
- Three years of experience in DME or healthcare industry preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
