- Some activities are traditional PM activities - also work in Agile and form scrum teams
- SAFE - quarterly PI planning (session next week) work with other teams to align objectives, review objectives and dependencies
- Data lake - someone who has developed data products, worked w BIs, Report Modelers, Report Developers
- Framework to ingest data into date lake - will help to lead a squad or scrum team
- Build data products and solutions
- Gathering reqs from folks, doing design work, mapping documents and other artifacts, doing the build, test, deployment, support and monitoring of solutions they will develop
- KEY SKILLS: very hands on, use Azure DevOps and needs hands on experience w the tool
- Like MS Jira - so either Azure DevOps or Jira experience
- They use ADO - need someone motivated to learn and willing to learn ADO is strong requirement
- various skill set w team members, product owners across business and will be other teams to coordinate with
- This person will work w master data mgmt, data governance or cloud teams
- Hands on work: during Agile Ceremonies, Daily stand ups, sprint planning, working with the teams to
- Strong comm and presentations skills; not only the ability to create PPs and also make updates from Agile Ceremony and also clearly communicate those updates to the broader teams
- 5-10 years of experience is fine for this role
- Scrum Master Cert - if they are the right candidate, done the work, but don't have the cert, would still love to talk to them
- Client Manufac experience: it's a nice to have; more imp experience is the prior DATA work
- Working w analytics teams, data engineering teams is more imp than industry experience
- PMP Cert and Scrum Master Cert - not required - nice to have!
- If two equal candidates, then would prefer someone w the certs!
- There will be some onboarding, but this person will be running the scrum ceremonies by themselves w the product owner and with the team - on point to facilitate
- If the person has strong organizational/PM/Scrum experience then the experience could be either Data Lake or Data Warehousing - they need to have and be familiar w the data life cycle - waterfallish!
- Data Lake environment - generally MS Azure and Data Bricks and Power BI will help
- This role is 90% Scrum/Agile - in general there will be PM related skills that leadership is looking for
- 3-5 years of Data projects experience - the more the better!
- A tech person who is software tech/engineer and now moving into Scrum and PM experience, they would want to see someone like this
- They are supporting the business and have various teams - finance data, supply chain data, commercial data - types of efforts that this person would be leading would be getting data into the lake, and through a medallion architecture in Data Bricks (bronze, gold, silver) and think of use case - why would finance use it? Would they send data to 3rd party? Data for reports?
- Travel for the role - they have quarterly onsite meetings for a couple of days in HQ.
- Degree - required for this role; doesn't have to be technical but need a degree
