Riverside Overview Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking an IT Requirements/Transition Manager to work onsite at Wright Patterson AFB. Responsibilities • Ensures comprehensive elicitation of requirements through stakeholder engagement and analysis, to accurately define and align IT solutions with the customer's strategic goals and operational needs • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for IT projects to capture desired system features, functionalities, and constraints • Orchestrates the transition of IT solutions, ensuring that technology, knowledge, and supporting documentation are seamlessly transferred to operations • Coordinates planning and execution of transitioned requirements/solutions, facilitating the effective integration of changes into operational IT services to achieve the customer's mission objectives • Facilitates discussions, ask probing questions, and ensure a clear understanding of project needs • Identify potential risks related to IT requirements • Assist in the hardening of systems to achieve favorable accreditation outcomes • Work closely with enterprise architects, PMs, engineers, SMEs, operations managers, and customer to identify/develop IT solutions to complex requirements that cannot be met with existing enterprise capabilities/offerings • Collaborate closely with client product leaders to analyze existing systems and solutions, and support deployment of IT systems • Work closely with architects, PMs, technicians, operations managers, and customers to transition solutions to those responsible to implement the solutions to meet requirements • Work closely with architects, in accordance with DoD and NASIC enterprise strategies and processes, to ensure consistent linkage and relationship between requirements and architectural models, policies, and guardrails • Building and maintaining relationships with customers before and after the project • Assist in researching and creating new technical solutions for customers Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication • Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, or related fields • Minimum 10 years' experience with IT systems, software development, and cyber security • Experience with IT requirements management, project management, and/or solutions development • Ability to recognize and differentiate between functional and design-level requirements, associated measures of effectiveness, and measures of performance • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel • Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction • Open to occasional travel • Other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications: • Experience with NASIC, mission, roles, and responsibilities • Experience with Intelligence Community missions • Experience as a team leader or consultant working closely with clients to communicate and capture information system requirements • Master's degree • Experience as an IT requirements manager supporting any Service or Intelligence Community organization • Experience with systems engineering fundamentals related to requirements, architectures, and interfaces for information technology systems Global Comp $91,000 - $148,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
