Summary of the Role: The IT Security Manager is a key member of Maitri's Operational Leadership and will own the company's full Information Technology pipeline. This role oversees and executes the strategic development of secure internal data management processes across our retail dispensaries and grower-processing facility, while also providing end-user technical support for various hardware, software, and system issues on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide device configuration, help desk coverage, and problem resolution for workstation hardware, software, printers, peripherals, smartphones, et cetera.
- Diagnose & resolve technical issues efficiently, creating scalable solutions for challenges encountered
- Plan, construct, and launch Maitri's secure internal IT server system, ensuring functional capacity to capture & store security camera footage according to state requirements
- Create efficient, secure information storage SOPs that mitigate risks & protect sensitive company & patient data
- Conduct regular inspections/audits to identify & resolve information security risks
- Lead training of site managers on security camera & basic IT equipment operations as needed
- Provide ongoing, data-backed recommendations for any requested changes to Maitri's IT system structures & capabilities
- Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations
- Oversee the development and implementation of IT related infrastructure for new acquisitions.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by Organization Managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ Years IT services management experience
- Knowledge of IT support concepts, practices and procedures across various hardware, software, cloud storage, and peripheral security devices
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants.
- Familiarity with EDR solutions, specifically SentinelOne (experience required).
- Cisco networking experience is a plus.
- Experience with IPsec tunnels and FortiGate firewalls is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with building and maintaining backbone networks and managing traffic flow.
- Proficient in security/surveillance procedures & systems
- Experience in highly regulated industries preferred
- Extensive experience in building & maintaining internal server systems in a highly regulated environment. They will also possess the interpersonal and communication skills to support employees' technical needs with efficiency, urgency, and clarity.
- Organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to relay technical concepts with clarity
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize critical tasks effectively
- The ability to manage through ambiguity & influence key stakeholders
- Mastery of LAN, VPN, and WAN Networking Concepts
- Associate's, Technical, or Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Comfort with both remote on on-site work environment
- Ability to both sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, and work in environments with production noise at times
- Willingness to work nontraditional hours (including nights & weekends) when needed
- Willingness to travel to various company sites for in-person technical support
