DutiesYou will demonstrate Advance knowledge of various software languages and toolsets to include (Powerbuilder, JAVA, React Native, Atlassian, HTML 5, CSS, Typescript, Oracle, Postgresql, MYSQL, Containerization, Services Oriented Architecture.You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and cyber activities on 20+ projects supporting Defense Health Navy and Marine Corps customers.You will lead the Application Integration (AI) process for the IPT.You will manage the technical personnel across the IPT to set priorities and ensure all technical tasking is accomplished.You will lead and ensure Configuration Management (CM) processes are followed across all projects within the IPT.You will provide organization-wide guidance and advice on how to implement and manage software processes.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee the Software and Database development and integration across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include hosting and Development, Security, and Operations (DEVSECOPs).Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:Lead the applications development process to identify and correct weaknesses in critical performance parameters.2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services, IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Ensure customer and management involvement throughout the software development process.3. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. The salary range includes 16.82% locality pay established for the Charleston, SC geographic location.
