We are pleased to announce a nationally impactful opportunity for an Information Technology Specialist at the National Gallery of Art Library. This role is instrumental in managing our Ex Libris Alma/PrimoVE platform and focusing on innovative integrations and data-driven projects that connect the Gallery's resources with audiences worldwide.If you are inspired to do work supporting the public good, this job is for you.Position Highlights:
  • Salary: $117,962 - $153,354 per year
  • In-Person Requirement: Based in Washington, D.C., this role offers the possibility of hybrid work two days a week after six months.

    • Administer and maintain all modules within Alma/PrimoVE, ensuring system performance and user satisfaction.
    • Lead technical projects, including system upgrades and troubleshooting, to maintain optimal functionality and security.
    • Act as the technical liaison with system vendors and the Gallery's Digital Services department, coordinating IT initiatives and integrations.
    • Enhance system capabilities through innovative IT solutions, including integrations with our DAMS and website.
    • Create and manage content for the discovery web portal, improving user experience and accessibility.
