Apply Now!Qualifications/Requirements:In this position you will serve as the Installation Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with primary responsibility for maintaining situational awareness and initiating actions for the non-secure internet protocol router network (NIPR Net) and the secure internet protocol router network (SIPR Net) to improve or restore the information assurance (IA) posture as well as conducting annual security reviews of all IA controls and a test of selected IA controls. Responsible for all network information protection operations, maintenance, planning, programming, budgeting, policy development/ enforcement and directing to include all aspects of boundary protection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain&maintain a“Top Secret” Security clearance.This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance (IA) certification within 6-months of assigned duties.Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of IT principles, concepts, methods, advancements, policies, design, development, testing and applications, both hardware and software sufficient to assess the organization's IT compliancy requirements.Expert knowledge of customers' business processes and operations to assistthem with information technology insertion and integration.Comprehensive knowledge of the organization's policy and planning formulation process along with its missions, goals, and objectives to review IT polices and plans.Comprehensive knowledge of systems architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods sufficient to conduct feasibility studies.Expert ability to identify any area, program or equipment/system that is not compliant with standards; identify the observations, root cause, and/or possible solutions; analyze to determine if there are trends and provide a comprehensive report to all levels of management.Ability to perform feasibility studies, perform cost analysis review, develop investment plans, and recommend a best course of action along with suitable alternatives.Ability to review and consult on IT related contracts and to serve as a technical representative on IT systems and service contracts.Ability to stay well informed on rapidly changing technology, to evaluate its possible impact on organization missions.You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.Your application package (resume, supporting documents) will be used to determine your eligibility, and qualifications.Click the apply button to complete an application and upload resume (PDF or Word Doc) and/or additional documents (Transcripts, certifications, Vet Docs (DD214), SF-50).To receive additional information about current and future job openings with AFCS via email notification, please subscribe at www.Afciviliancareers.com and sign up to“Get Career Updates.”AFCS is Equal Opportunity Employer.
