We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist who will play a pivotal role in managing the Element Help Desk and providing customer assistance. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in supporting customers in bringing IT solutions in a corporate environment Experience with Windows desktop environment and MAC and IOS computers and phones is a must. This role will report to the Associate Director - IT Service Management and will be a San Diego based role.   • Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Respond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chat
  • Provide customer assistance
  • Document customer interactions
  • Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
  • Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
  • Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
  • Great communication skills
  • Genius Bar support
Education and Experience:
  • 3+ years of relative industry experience, (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
  • Extensive experience working in windows desktop environment
  • Proficiency with a MAC and IOS computers and phones
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
  • Work with software support teams
  • Life science background or prior Lab experience is great
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 15 pounds

Base Compensation Pay Range:
  • $75,000 - $91,000
In addition to base compensation noted above, you will be eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, no cost health insurance plans, 401k with company match, and flexible paid time off. Please note: Base compensation will depend on multiple factors, including geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
