DAC Engineering is looking for an experienced IT Specialist with expertise in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across our organization. This role requires a mix of technical skills, business insight, and an eye for design to create visually appealing and highly functional dashboards. Duties and Responsibilities:Power BI Development & Management
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop data models that integrate with multiple data sources.
Data Integration & Analysis
- Use SQL and other data manipulation tools to transform and validate data.
- Manage data integration from various sources to provide consistent and reliable data views.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support different business units and strategic initiatives.
User Training & Support
- Train end-users on Power BI functionalities, including report creation, filtering, and navigation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of other BI tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Office 365 suite, SharePoint Online.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions for IT issues and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on Power BI development and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
