The Senior Storage Systems Engineer will work with a team and independently to support our clients in the public and private sector.This Engineer will work to troubleshoot and optimize storage systems solutions for our clients. They will manage and monitor all installed storage systems and infrastructure where needed. The Engineer will perform all responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux and Windows server operating systems with an emphasis towards storage administration and performance managementDemonstrate working knowledge and management of cloud and container architectures.Demonstrate an ability to perform automation scripting and familiarity with infrastructure as codeDemonstrate familiarity with storage technologiesArchitect and deploy functional infrastructure environments for medium, large and enterprise clientsMaintain complete technical documentation and project, ticket updatesMonitor and manage performance, security, and integrity of client's server and hardware infrastructurePossess highly developed troubleshooting skillsDemonstrate willingness to work within a team, provide training and collaboration with other team membersOn-Call rotation requiredDemonstrate highly developed customer service skillsAdhere to Huber Core ValuesOTHER DUTIES could include the following:Architect, Implement, and Maintain Backup Storage Infrastructure Services for server and cloud environmentsAdminister client cloud environmentsCarry out other automation projects benefitting the organization and clientsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 Years' Experience architecting or administering storageSend resume to : ...@teamhuber.com with the subject line IT Storage Engineer .
