Currently, we are looking to add an IT Support Analyst to the team: Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for helpdesk support, resolving tickets for on-site and remote users. Oversee all end-user support for desktop computers, printers, phone system, software, and hardware with some server maintenance/administration. Configure and maintain various lab instrument control suites and instrument hardware. Perform software installation and maintenance process scripting via Windows Batch Scripts, PowerShell, etc. Responsible for audio/visual equipment setup, operation, and maintenance at all local Cayman buildings, as well as any offsite presentations, as needed. Perform basic network maintenance activities including installing network drops, cable labeling, switch port activation, decommissioning/disposal of hardware, etc. Develop and maintain records of software licensing, backup procedures, IT assets, users in active directory, exchange, and phone system, and documented standards, procedures, protocols, and configurations of desktop systems. Requirements: Education: High school diploma; bachelors degree in computer information systems or related field preferred Experience: 2-3 years of related experience Computer Skills: Microsoft desktop and server technology, Office 365 Protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH, VPN, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, 802.11a/b/g Basic programming and scripting skills with an emphasis on Windows PowerShell System backups and imaging techniques Knowledge of networking, routing solutions, and phone system technologies Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hours and provide occasional off-hours support by participating in on-call rotation.
