Support requests can come from phone, email or helpdesk tickets. You will work with other IT areas to install, maintain, and support the company's Computer Systems, Networks (WANs & LANs), intranets, client computers, mobile devices and more.ResponsibilitiesWill be on-site support for Michigan City offices and local off-site locations.Report and track all work performed via Help Desk system.Provide end-user support to all office and field staff.Maintain computer system hardware and software, including routine system updates.Maintain all office peripherals including printers and copiers.Monitor daily backups and restore as necessary.Configure new workstations for end-users as required.Configure and support mobile phone devices.Monitor and maintain firewall and internet connections and traffic.Maintain network infrastructure including but not limited to switches, access points and battery backup systems.Perform project data archives.Research, test and recommend new hardware, software and technologies as business needs require.Perform administrative duties as needed for the IT dept.Work directly with vendors for purchasing products and for support of our systems.QualificationsMinimum of 2+ years of professional IT experience, including a focus on Help Desk support and SaaS applications management experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable.Knowledge of Windows Server OS's/Windows 7, 10, 11 operating systems is required.Knowledge in Azure cloud technologies and mobile platform (Android/iOS) is desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software/O365 and knowledge of Microsoft client-server.Virtual environments (VMware, Nutanix, Azure or GCP) desirable.Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Windows, Mac, and iOS devices.Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
