VIGILINT is seeking full-time IT Support Specialist to assist with the growing IT business development needs. The individual must be a self-starter, customer service oriented, mature, demonstrate initiative and ability to exercise good judgment, be able to work harmoniously with others, and communicate effectively. In addition, a VIGILINT employee must always maintain a professional demeanor. The candidate must have the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information, and the ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.

This position will serve as the liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Assist in monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Participate in the development and implementation of IT strategy/policy. Have the technical skills to troubleshoot and diagnose computer hardware and software issues and assist employees with IT-related problems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Assists with IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of projects

* Assists with establishing and implementing project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders

* Evaluate performance and provide feedback to the IT Managed Service Provider

* Assist in the multi-platform data conversion project

* Respond to and resolve end-user issues that require advanced knowledge of Apple or iOS systems

* Setup laptops for new employees, offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems. Help ensure staff is following security best practices

* Performs inventory control duties

* Working knowledge of the software programs utilized by Health Care Professionals, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office 365, Epic, Salesforce, Deltek- Cost Point, and experience with call center software

* Provide new user training, advanced user training, and new feature training to staff as required to include onsite and remote employees

* Interface with Security and Human Resources to maintain company policies

* Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

* Have or can obtain a Security Clearance

* Technical expertise on Apple products

* Expertise in peripherals such as printers, scanners, keyboards, optical mice, video-conferencing equipment, and other related devices

* Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry

* Organized with attention to detail

* Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Understanding of project management principles and planning

* Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices

* Ability to motivate vendors to complete a project in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer-related program

* Security+ certification

* At least five years of related experience is required.
