Job Description:
Overview:We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to act as the primary contact for end-users, providing comprehensive hardware and software support for a diverse range of devices. This role involves managing the technical needs of over 100 users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of their IT systems.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for technical support, assisting over 100 users with IT-related issues.Provide support for Windows PCs, iPhones, Android devices, Zebra barcode scanners, and Zebra label printers.Perform operating system upgrades, including transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 10.Image, configure, and deploy new PCs to end-users.Set up new user accounts and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues.Qualifications:Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant certifications or experience.3-5 years of hands-on IT experience in a support role.Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting complex issues.Ability to walk between buildings and navigate different environments throughout the day.Experience with AS400 systems is highly desirable.Skills and Attributes:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality technical assistance.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving IT challenges.If you are passionate about technology and enjoy solving technical problems in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
