Job Type Full-time Description REPORTS TO: Vice President Information Technology (who is based in our Minneapolis Office) POSITION SUMMARY: Zelle is seeking a Support Specialist to join its Information Technology Team. The Support Specialist is responsible for supporting end users from both a hardware and software perspective. The Support Specialist must be able to collaborate with coworkers and see issues through resolution whether it is done through research and troubleshooting or escalating to a vendor or a coworker for assistance. JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for servicing the technology needs of the Firm's end users of varying levels of technical skills, assisting colleagues on projects and administrative duties, and ensuring security throughout the environment.

  • Takes a proactive approach to researching issues to find resolutions and implement solutions before they become a widespread issue.
  • Maintains systems to ensure reliability, performance and security.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for systems and procedures.
  • Handles additional IT projects as assigned.
  • On-call rotation and occasional travel.
Requirements The position requires the ability to perform critical tasks, with the highest degree of accuracy and assuredness. Success will require excellent communication skills, a high aptitude and desire to learn new things, and a solid foundation in IT systems. Specific required skills for the position:
  • The ability to independently research and troubleshoot issues (that may be unfamiliar) to resolution.
  • Ability to understand users' business needs and translate them to technical capabilities; must also be able to articulate the limitations of the technology.
  • Attention to detail and quality control required.
  • Strong customer service focus with advanced analysis, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and vendors, and provide information with professional courtesy and tact.
  • Work occasionally requires more than 37.5 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular and overtime hours.

HYBRID REQUIREMENTS: In office at least 2 days / week, this position is based in Zelle's NYC office. Salary Description $75,000 - $105,000 a year
