We're here to help our clients build safe, thriving organizations, and we're looking for people with a common goal to help us do it.Position Description:As a member of the Technology Team, the Information Technology Support Specialist will assist with the support of KPA managed devices including Windows Desktops/Laptops, Mac, Android, and iOS. This role also plays an essential, customer-facing role in supporting high quality, highly scalable software for KPA's Software as a Service (SaaS) products. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills while functioning well within Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Change Management protocol.In the first 2 weeks you will:Assist the IT team with tier 1 and 2 helpdesk ticket resolution within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).In the first 2 months you will:Perform an assessment of the current environment including SOPs and present recommendations for changes and/or improvements.In the first 3 months you will:Assist with the maintenance lifecycle for all desktop, laptop, and mobile endpoints, operating systems and software.Present at least one IT-based training session to staff.Document and update all proprietary functions in IT information repository.In the first 6 months you will:Assist with the onboarding/offboarding activities and develop automated processes to reduce configuration time.Travel to remote offices and co-location facilities as needed (a few times per year may be required).Assist the Systems Administrator, as needed, in key infrastructure areas.By the end of the first year you will have:Obtain a minimum of one Microsoft certification directly contributing to the KPA Microsoft Partnership competencies.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementation, and maintenance in the following areas:- Windows desktop and server technologies: CompTIA A+, MCP certifications preferred - Mobile Device Management technologies: Intune, Kandji, experience preferred - Security technologies: MS365 Defender, Crowdstrike, Rapid7 experience preferred Experience working in an internally-facing IT support role.Strong communication and resolution skills.Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems/Management Information Systems or Computer Science degree preferred.Success Criteria:Creative and passionate about cutting edge technologies and continuous personal and team improvement.Deep sense of personal ownership and passion for working with all types of personalities at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to prioritize, troubleshoot and resolve tickets within a defined SLA; escalating issues when appropriate.Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.Experience working with a highly distributed staff is preferred.Work ethic that corresponds with KPA's core values: Integrity, Helpful, Excellence, Agile, Respectful, Teamwork.Compensation:This is a non-exempt position paying between $30-33 per hour.Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 7.5%.Physical Requirements:Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
