RSM is growing and hiring an IT Support Specialist to support our North California region

Core Competencies:

* Exceptional oral and written communication skills

* Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities

* Capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing tasks

Key Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various systems, including computers, printers, VOIP phones, IP cameras, projectors, and other supported devices

* Understand and apply knowledge of network architecture and building network systems

* Possess a foundational understanding of AWS and VPN services

* Manage and respond to technical support requests via email, ticketing systems, and phone calls

* Oversee and maintain the company's VOIP phone system

* Track and resolve issues reported through the company's ticketing system

* Collaborate with third-party vendors, including those for copy machines, VOIP systems, and internet services

* Administer servers, including managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and server virtualization

* Perform regular server backups and data restoration; handle installation, diagnostics, configuration, and repair of hardware and software

* Maintain and manage firewalls (Cisco, Sophos) and other network devices

* Procure required hardware, software, and licenses for the company

* Travel as needed to support IT needs at other company branches in different states

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in progressively responsible IT roles

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

* Capable of working independently and achieving results with minimal supervision

* Self-motivated and team-oriented with a strong desire to collaborate and contribute

* Demonstrated hands-on approach to problem-solving with a practical, results-driven attitude

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively

* Flexibility to work beyond regular business hours when needed
