Job Description:
Position Summary: Provides technical support for computers and associated networks. Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, related PC software, printers, cables, and connections. Reporting Structure The IT Support Specialist will report to the IT Manager Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the IT Manager on Projects
  • Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support. Installs, services, and installs software.
  • Minor printer troubleshooting
  • Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
  • Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks.
  • May be assigned to work on special projects.
  • Patching of systems in support of cyber security
  • Some travel between the different PCC sites may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Microsoft Software Center / SCCM deployments
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Windows 10/11 OS
  • MS Windows Active Directory administration.
  • Some hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to deliver customer service to users with various levels of computer knowledge.
  • Ability to take direction well and be a motivated self-starter.
  • Must be open and excited to learn new technologies.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Should be customer service-oriented and learn techniques to best serve clients.
Years of Experience
  • 1 to 2 Years in related field
Level of Education
  • BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
