Job Description:

**IT Support Specialist**

at Ridgeline New York As a Ridgeline IT Support Specialist, you own the day-to-day IT Support of employees, Macs, hardware and peripherals, conference rooms, corporate network, user accounts, communication services, and associated systems. You will have direct influence on how our IT department scales by helping build from the ground up.

This position requires an independent, highly technical, and competent problem solver for a range of systems and technologies, including MacOS, iOS, JAMF, G-Suite, Slack, Atlassian, AWS IAM, GitHub account management, Single Sign-On, AV, endpoint protection, network maintenance and troubleshooting, and Zoom administration.

* Drive daily IT support including resolving tickets for Mac troubleshooting and maintenance, account assistance (AWS, GitHub, GSuite etc), and virtual conference rooms

* Creatively drive solutions for automating and improving IT processes

* Build documentation resources to scale processes and knowledge base

* Manage corporate network infrastructure

* Deploy and manage corporate Mac laptops and systems

* Monitor and maintain AV hardware in our video conference rooms

* Own and maintain corporate user accounts (i.e.:AWS, GitHub, and GSuite)

* Collaborate closely Security and Compliance to respond to security incidents, and HR for onboarding

* Implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and accounting services (SSO, MFA, Logging, etc.) alongside the Security team

* Administer and maintain our Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, ITSM)

* Ability to go on-call on a rotating schedule with Security

* Maintain positive Vendor relationships and maintain our outsourced infrastructure

* Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency

* Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way

**Required Skills and Experience**

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

* 3+ years technical experience working in system administration or IT operations

* Experience with corporate networking, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

* Experience with audio and video system deployment and maintenance (i.e.: Zoom, Google Meet)

* Expert knowledge of the deployment and administration of MacOS

* Familiarity with endpoint security solutions

* Hands-on experience with G-Suite User and Application management

* Expert troubleshooting skills in IT infrastructure and applications

* Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage your time effectively in a very fast-paced startup environment

* An aptitude for problem-solving and a growth mindset

* Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally and liaise with all departments

* Serious interest in having fun at work

**Nice to Haves:**

* Familiarity with security best practices and zero-trust model

* Hands-on familiarity with JAMF, JAMF certification a big plus

* Experience building automation through scripting, programming, and/or vendor solutions
