Care Lync is a Social Services agency focused on providing Support Coordination (Service Coordination/Case Management) services to adults diagnosed with Intellectual, Developmental and Physical Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout Pennsylvania who are enrolled in the Department of Human Services, Medicaid Waiver Program. Our Support Coordinators work with adults to help them to navigate, understand, and secure the services needed in order to live independently in their home and community.

Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems. This role involves responding to user inquiries, maintaining hardware and software, and resolving technical issues promptly. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, addressing issues via phone, email, Teams call or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems
System Maintenance:
Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and peripherals.
Perform regular maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor system performance and report issues to the Executive Leadership Team
User Training and Documentation:
Provide training to end-users on software applications, tools, and IT best practices.
Document technical processes, solutions, and user guides to support IT operations.
Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions through internal platforms or third-party tracking systems.
Network and Security:
Assist in maintaining the organization's network and security infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols.
Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures, including antivirus updates and patch management.
Equipment and Asset Management:
Track IT equipment inventory and assist with procurement processes.
Set up and decommission devices for new and departing employees.
Ensure proper disposal of outdated or non-functioning equipment following company policies.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least two years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux).
Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Zoom, and Remote Desktop environments.
