The IT Support Technician II will be hands on with all aspects of information technology. Essential Job Functions
- Act as an operational contact providing team members with Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support
- Work with the IT team to provide 2nd tier end user support for corporate computers, software, phones, and peripherals
- Responsible for end user systems within the corporate environment, maintaining desktop standards, creating desktop images, and utilizing a systems management appliance to build desktop management scripts
- Conduct IT user onboarding and offboarding
- Troubleshoot and maintain VMware environment (Nutanix)
- Troubleshoot and assist in maintaining LAN/WAN connections
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
- Provide end user training for systems, procedures, and policies
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software in use in the facility
- Lead projects that will deploy new or enhance existing IT systems
- Serve as on-call IT support on a weekly rotation for 1 week each month
- Assist IT leadership in planning and managing budgetary goals for IT projects
- Contribute to the overall success of Spooky Nook Sports by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting IT problems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMWare
- Experience managing Active Directory environments
- Experience managing Microsoft 365
- Understanding of basic networking concepts and best practices
- Experience with LAN and WAN infrastructures (Cisco or Aruba)
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work
- Must have valid driver's license
