We are currently searching for a talented IT Support Technician to join our team in Sparks, MD. As a part of our team you will:
- Provide end-user support for both hardware and software issues
- Generate trouble tickets based on end-user requests/needs
- Troubleshoot issues including but not limited to email, printing, file access, authentication, etc...
- Install/Update Operating Systems and business applications on Windows PCs
- Install/Upgrade Computer Hardware
- Install/Update Software within PDQ Inventory & Deploy
- Configure and track IT equipment within SolarWinds Service Desk
- Maintain IT Knowledgebase with known issues and resolutions
- Assist the network team as needed with projects and support
Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience in an IT support capacity
- Vendor Certifications such as Microsoft MCP, A+, Network+ are a plus
- Basic Understanding of LAN / WAN Infrastructures
- Ability to respond quickly to, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user issues
- STRONG troubleshooting skills a must
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to provide a synopsis to management
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment
- Experience supporting Windows machines in an Active Directory environment
- Experience troubleshooting applications such as Microsoft Office, Sophos Anti-Virus, Azure VPN, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Strong time management skills

Salary & Benefits The expected annual base salary for this position is $50,000-60,000. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidate's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
