IT Support Technician - Windows, Active DirectoryPosition OverviewWe are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our users, troubleshoot various IT issues, and ensure efficient operation of IT systems. This role is crucial for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner using the HelpDesk Ticketing System.
- Assist with desktop imaging and deployment for new devices.
- Perform administrative tasks in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange as required.
- Support users with Microsoft Office applications and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Configure and maintain mobile devices through Mobile Device Management systems.
- Participate in network cabling installations and troubleshoot connectivity issues according to OSI Model principles.
- Assist in the configuration and management of DHCP and DNS settings.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an IT helpdesk support role.
- Proficient in Windows 10 operating system and support.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with HelpDesk Ticketing Systems and processes.
- Knowledge of desktop imaging techniques and tools.
- Basic understanding of network principles including DHCP, DNS, and the OSI Model.
- Experience with mobile device management solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
