Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. This role provides technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for remote support and traveling to various client sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer systems and related technology. You will be the face of the company, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the IT infrastructure is running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-level support for PC and hardware issues, including troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
* Resolve basic network connectivity issues, install and configure software, and troubleshoot software-related issues.
* Respond to support tickets and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
* Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and installations of IT equipment and ensure systems are operating correctly.
* Provide excellent customer service while working with end-users to resolve IT issues in person, over the phone, or via remote support tools.
* Assist in setting up new equipment, configuring systems, and ensuring all devices meet company or client standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, including issues reported, solutions provided, and time spent on each task.
* Travel to various client locations as needed to provide on-site support, sometimes requiring overnight stays.
* Assist with basic EMR (Electronic medical record) troubleshooting.
Requirements:
* Basic understanding of PC hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with Windows OS, basic networking concepts, and software troubleshooting.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
* Ability and availability to adhere to On-Call | After Hours assistance.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various client sites.
* Willingness to travel, sometimes with short notice, and occasionally work outside of normal business hours.
* As business needs change, the adaptability of job duties and functions may change as well
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a help desk, IT support, or similar role.
* Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
