Definition & Essential FunctionsUnder limited supervision, provides a variety of routine and complex administrative and technical support in the administration of City government for the Information Technology Department. TasksSpecific Duties:The IT Support Technician must have strong product knowledge of computer hardware, software and peripherals along with licensing requirements in order to perform day-to-day activities. The IT Support Technician is required to use independent judgment and initiative in performing day-to-day activities. The IT Support Technician performs tasks in customer service, computer installation, and inventory control.
