Full Time IT System AdministratorFull Time, On-SiteM-F 8am-5pm, with rotating on call responsibility At Bishop Gadsden, we pride ourselves on providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our residents. Located on James Island, SC and we are a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community, affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Bishop Gadsden is known as the Southeast's leading life care retirement community. We are located just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston! We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT System Administrator to join our team in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our on-site IT infrastructure. This includes managing our Microsoft environment, ensuring data security, and providing technical support to our campus. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong customer service orientation and a passion for technology. A Typical Day:
  • Provision, configure, and maintain employee laptops and desktops.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect company data.
  • Manage Microsoft Office and SharePoint data, ensuring accessibility and security.
  • Administer OneDrive accounts and file sharing.
  • Configure and manage Intune for device management and software deployment.
  • Oversee VPN solutions for secure remote access.
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 services, including Exchange and SharePoint.
  • Domain Services/IAM/SSO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft technologies.
What We Need From A Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT system administration.
  • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft, SharePoint Administrator, CCNA.
  • Prior experience within cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS, and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 Administration.
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Administration including logical design, training, and security preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Windows, Active Directory, and VMware environments.
