SUMMARY Partner is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator. The ideal candidate will have knowledge with Windows environment and associated systems to determine problems, provide solutions when issues arise. Design, upgrade, maintain and provide improvements to our network and security environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
  • Oversee the creation, installation, and support for computing systems.
  • Manage projects and meet deliverables according to a set timeline and in coordination with director of IT.
  • Work to improve the stability and security of the company cloud and on-premises networks.
  • Analyzing and assessing the current IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the performance, security, and reliability of the IT systems and networks.
  • Installing, configuring, patching, and maintaining hardware and software components, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, storage, and other network devices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, communication, and network problems.
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues before they become critical.
  • Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that the IT infrastructure can recover from any disruptions or outages.
  • Collaborating with other technology professionals, such as software developers, database administrators, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure that the IT infrastructure is integrated and optimized.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends in IT infrastructure and recommending new solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Documenting the IT infrastructure and maintaining accurate records of all hardware and software assets.
  • Documenting change control processes.
  • Providing training and support to end-users to ensure that they can use the technology systems and applications effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining various part of an organization's networks.
  • Assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise.
  • Designing, upgrading, maintaining, security, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Motivated - Ability to work as a team member and/or individually with little or no supervision.
  • Quality of work - Take pride in getting the tasks done on time and accurately.
  • Organization, productivity, problem-solving, and efficiency will be factored in during annual reviews and merit increases.
  • Knowledge and technical skills will determine the salary. Must have a passion for learning and researching technical issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environment, server OS, SMB, TCPIP, DNS, DFS and networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 environment and all associated applications.
  • Experience with Firewalls, routers, switches, SSL, TCP, VPN, and transmission protocols.
  • Experience with various storage arrays, backup products and off-site replication strategies.
  • Experience with VMware or Hyper-V server virtualization.
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with network and endpoint security protocols and IDS/IPS.
  • Any familiarity with Veeam, Meraki, VMware, Microsoft SharePoint and Teams is a plus.
  • Any technical or IT industry-relevant certification or bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent system administration experience. Any experience with a geographically dispersed multi-national firms is a plus.
COMPENSATION Salary range: $69,000 to $89,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
