We believe deeply in doing well by doing good and come to work every day seeking to change the world.Bright Power seeks an experienced systems administrator to join Bright Power's Technology team's IT division. This role will assist the Director of IT and partner service providers to support day-to-day technology operations and improvements across our growing technology stack.The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in successfully implementing, integrating, and administering Cloud SaaS apps, IT on-premise servers and systems, AWS infrastructure, and end-user computing devices (Including Windows 10, macOS, iOS, and Android devices).The RoleImplement and administer SaaS-based and on-premise applications and systemsSupport management in maintaining and improving the internal ITSM systemsEffectively monitor, maintain, and control IT servers and infrastructure, including but not limited to office network technology (routers, firewalls, internet circuits, switches, and access pointsRespond to escalated inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technology challengesCollaborate with managed service provider partners to resolve technical issues related to network interruptions, cloud applications, and end-user computing devicesOrganize and file documentation on warranties and instructional guides for computing hardware, and softwareAssist management in creating training materials on new and existing core apps and usageWorking on an Agile project and operations team, participating in regular standup meetings, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other scheduled project activitiesProvide ongoing administrative and technical support for IT business productivity systems.Support management in improving IT systems processes and proceduresRegularly communicating with end-users through support caseworkOther tasks as assignedQualificationsEducation: Degree, or pursuing a degree, in IT, Software, Business Intelligence, or other relevant academic programs.Proven experience as an IT systems administrator, engineer, or development resource2+ year proven administrative or development experience with Okta, Microsoft, 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Egnyte, Zoom, or other related business productivity toolsExperience in maintaining cloud-based IT network infrastructure and security configurations.Technically proficient in cloud application integration via native or API-based communicationTechnically proficient in computer and mobile operating system support, including Windows 10, macOS, iOS, AndroidExcellent organizational and time management skills.Strong work ethic and able to work independently and multitaskCritical thinking and problems solving abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record in working as part of a team to maintain and improve internal systemsInterest in learning about buildings, construction, and its relation to energy and environmental issues.The ideal candidate would have one or more of the following:General knowledge of building systems and construction best practicesGeneral understanding of energy efficiency, storage, and generation technologiesAdvanced expertise in the combination of Windows Server administration, Network Administration, and Cloud SaaS Apps Administration.Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,0000 Annually.Physical DemandsThe employee must occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.
