Our ALOHA™ and Voltaix® products are critical to the manufacturer of the newest computer chips required for Big Data and the Internet of Things. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The IT Systems Administrator position provides user support in a Microsoft Windows environment across multiple sites and time zones. Candidates must have demonstrated skills and technical expertise, along with a strong passion for technology. This position will be a lead resource in support of all ALAM locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support desk resource for high priority issues impacting business (L2/L3)
  • Provide user training and guidance on a wide range of technical issues
  • Ability to guide users of varying technical abilities through the usage of digital tools at Air Liquide
  • Windows Server management (Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012 R2) to support internal applications
  • After-hours escalation contact for any IT issue across all sites
  • Collaborate with corporate IT groups to deliver the best possible service to our customers
Technical Competencies:
  • Windows server technologies and desktop operating systems
  • Active Directory in a multi-domain and multi-site environment
  • Industrial IT core competencies including management of industrial network systems
  • Group policy management
  • DNS, DHCP
  • VMware VSphere/ESXi, server virtualization technology
  • LAN networking, VLAN management, Ethernet switches and wiring, wireless systems
  • User account and hardware provisioning
  • Ability to provide training and guidance to new users as part of onboarding process
Are you a MATCH? Qualifications:
  • Relevant IT certifications or college degree in Information Technology, or 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of networking technologies and platforms
  • Ability to adapt and support an ever-changing suite of business applications
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and priorities to ensure customers and colleagues are not disappointed
  • Excellent project management, organizational, record-keeping, and documentation skills
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues, customers, and management
  • Able to manage several business critical projects simultaneously while maintaining day to day operations in a fast paced environment
  • Effective at diagnosing and solving technical problems and coordinating service provider support when necessary
  • Understands the IT support environment and requirement to adjust schedule when necessary to perform upgrades, maintenance, and other tasks with least disruption to the business
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations or training
  • Able to travel when necessary to support other sites
  • Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn
