About This Role Our IT team is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Systems Administrator to join our amazing group of professionals who develop and manage a diverse portfolio of affordable multi-family housing properties across the United States. In this position, you will work alongside the IT Sr. Manager to implement, maintain, and manage the organization's computer systems, servers, networks, and related infrastructure. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems to meet the business needs and deliver outstanding support to our end users. The ideal candidate is dedicated and passionate about technology. You're analytical with a strong attention to detail and thrive working in a team environment. This is a hybrid role and will require you to be on-site 3 days out of the week in our downtown Denver office. What You'll Do
- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, 11 Pro, Windows Server, etc.) and software applications on servers and workstations.
- Server Management: Manage physical and virtual servers, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal server uptime and reliability.
- Network Administration: Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Manage backup solutions to protect data integrity and ensure disaster recovery capabilities. Test and document recovery procedures regularly.
- Security Administration: Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner. Conduct user training on software systems.
- SaaS Application Management: Manage and administer Software as a Service (SaaS) applications used by the organization. This includes user account management, application configuration, integration with other systems, and troubleshooting SaaS-related issues.
- Patch Management: Manage software updates, patches, and security vulnerabilities on systems and applications to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on system performance, capacity, and security metrics.
- IT Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with IT team to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects based on business requirements and technology trends.

Your Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in systems administration or similar scope of responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with expertise in system administration tasks.
- Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Extensive experience in managing Microsoft Exchange Online in an O365 environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network security principles and best practices.
- Experience working with Firewalls, Switches, and Access points such as Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HPE.
- Familiarity with endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Sentinel One).
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, patch management tools, and monitoring systems (e.g., Veeam, Microsoft Intune).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task scripting.
- Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools such as ManageEngine, TeamViewer, and ConnectWise.
- Understanding of AI concepts and applications relevant to IT operations, such as AI-driven automation and predictive analytics.
- Valid California Driver's License.
BenefitsBenefits The expected base salary for this role is $90,000 - 105,000. This represents the current target and is subject to change. To determine starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
