Job Description:
Reports to the IT Systems Engineer and is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner ensures maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources. Essential Job Functions:
  • Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software;
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system;
  • Be familiar with all hardware and software;
  • Be familiar with network operating system;
  • Provide orientation to new users of existing technology;
  • Train staff about potential uses of existing and new technology;
  • Provide individual training and support on request;
  • Provide recommendations about accessing information and support;
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources;
  • Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access;
  • Troubleshoot all technology issues;
  • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance;
  • Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources;
  • Research current and potential resources and services;
  • Provide network access to employees;
  • Install workstations;
  • Connect and set up hardware;
  • Load all required software;
  • Provide network accounts and passwords as required;
  • Monitor security of all technology;
  • Install and maintain passwords;
  • Input and maintain IP addresses;
  • Advise staff of any security breach and/or change in password or security status;
  • Ensure installation of lock out programs;
  • Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate;
  • Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal;
  • Excellent internal/external guest service;
  • Create, train, and provide support for all computer users in company;
  • Maintain backups of all systems in company;
  • Inventory control of all software and hardware;
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School or GED
  • 2-4 years related experience required
Preferred:
  • Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

  • Other physical demands of this job may include, but are not limited to: sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling/pushing, kneeling, squatting, grasping, lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 lbs
