Job Description:

IT Systems Administrator - Fort Miller Group Fort Miller Group is growing rapidly and seeks to expand our team of IT professionals. Our Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical IT infrastructure, which is comprised of on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Supported infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft 365, Cisco networking equipment, FortiNet, and VXRail/VMW. Excellent benefits are provided, including:

Responsibilities of our IT Systems Administrator include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring all systems are secure, updated and scalable
  • Monitoring and improving the performance of our infrastructure
  • Working closely with department to understand what is needed from our systems to drive efficiency using technology
  • Developing and maintaining a Disaster Recovery Plan, working closely with the IT and leadership teams.
  • Working with vendors to manage projects and ensure that we are maximizing the use of our computer systems and software, including Microsoft 365, FortiNet, Darktrace, Duo, and others.
  • Respond to Help Desk tickets, addressing system issues that our users experience from time to time.
Requirements for our IT Systems Administrator:
  • A Bachelor degree in IT Networking, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience applying skills used in a business setting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, deadline driven
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of industry standard computer hardware and software systems
  • Ability to travel on occasion to our remote locations (within a five hour drive from our main campus)
