JOB SUMMARYThe IT Systems and Infrastructure Lead will oversee and manage our organization's network, server, cloud platforms, and security systems. This role requires expertise in a variety of technologies, including network management, RMM and device management, server administration, cloud services, disaster recovery, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking with Extreme switches, advanced proficiency in cloud-based platforms such as Azure, and hands-on experience with a range of security tools and systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Networking and Proactive Monitoring:•Expertise with Extreme switches, VLANs, and network segmentation•Proficiency in using Auvik for network monitoring and proactive troubleshootingRMM and Device Management:•Extensive experience with VSP 10 RMM for IT asset management and patching•Advanced proficiency in Jamf Business for Apple device configuration and complianceServer Administration:•Windows: Advanced knowledge of Hyper-V, Active Directory, and server roles•Linux: Strong expertise in Linux-based networking services, including DHCP, DNS, and firewallsCloud Platforms and Collaboration Tools:•Proficiency in Azure and hybrid cloud architecture•Advanced experience in managing Google Workspace for user and security administrationBackup and Disaster Recovery:•Proficiency with Veeam backup solutions and disaster recovery planning•Access Control and Security Systems:•Hands-on experience with Kantech Access Control systems and Wave Sync Security CamerasSecurity Expertise:•Strong skills in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection•Ability to enforce policies and maintain compliance across multi-platform environments•Other duties as assignedCOMPETENCIES•Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and set priorities•Proficient with Google suites products•Proficiency in administrative procedures, and operation of standard office equipment (e.g., computers, phone systems, copier) •Outstanding analytical ability, including gathering, summarizing, and analyzing data for reports, solving various administrative problems, and prioritizing work•Attention to detail in following instructions, following up on tasks, composing, typing, and proofing materials, etc.•Proactively takes initiative to ensure projects run efficiently and can meet concurrent deadlines•Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures and adapt to rapid operational changes•Teamwork mentality, willingness to adjust to the needs of the team•Accepts new ideas and challenges and is highly motivated•High level of confidentiality and personal accountability in relationships•Experience with administrative tasks, problem-solving, and troubleshooting•Flexibility and cooperation under pressure•Aptitude for logistics planningPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a regular full-time position (36-40 hrs) Monday-Thursday. Occasional night and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to do the following:•Must have good or corrected vision as well as effective peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus•Must have good manual dexterity and be able to use repetitive motion of the hands and arms•Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time•Must be able to move about inside the office and file rooms to perform a variety of tasks•Must be able to frequently and effectively communicate in both written and verbal form•Must be able to occasionally lift 25 pounds and/or push/pull objects up to 50 pounds•Occasional events/activities outdoors in the heat, occasional events/activities requiring prolonged standing•Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching•Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organizationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE•Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field•Equivalent experience in IT systems and infrastructure may be considered in lieu of a degreePreferred Qualifications:•Relevant certifications, such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate•Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent networking certifications•CompTIA Security+ or other security-related certifications•Jamf Certified Admin or other Apple management certifications•Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) or equivalent Linux certificationsWORK ENVIRONMENTDuties are performed in a variety of settings to include, outside, office and technical settings where the work and general environment may be fast-paced and hectic at times. Therefore, it is essential that the employee can effectively handle the normal anxieties associated with the job and manage multiple projects in service-oriented environment.
