Job Description:
Job Summary: Core functions include issue resolution for end users within the Service Level Agreements time frames, administration of cloud systems/platforms and infrastructure hardware. Evaluate current systems and recommend ways to improve the infrastructure (upgrades to hardware, software, network, etc.). Manage contracted services for projects and maintain vendor relationships. Work autonomously in fast-paced, engaging, dynamic environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following.
  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
  • Responsible for the Microsoft Azure and 365 environments including but not limited to Azure AD, Azure Storage, Azure VMs, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Endpoint Manager/Intune.
  • Manage, validate, and test all aspects of server/ data backups, storage infrastructure, replication to the DR site and recovery.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, workflows, and diagrams for IT infrastructure systems.
  • Manage Windows infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, group policies, file servers, print servers, etc.
  • Proactively manage and monitor the IT infrastructure utilizing enterprise monitoring technologies.
  • Responsible for Endpoint Management Solutions - software deployments, patching cycles and policies.
  • Work with the IT Team to improve processes and procedures such as Risk Mitigation, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
  • Architect, design, and lead technical IT implementations for minor projects.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT Infrastructure related support incidents.
  • Automation of SOX compliance, audit and IT control reports and tasks.
  • Participation of on-call rotation for one week rotating amongst the group members.
  • Administer IT infrastructure inventory and licenses. Administer IT projects for equipment, software upgrades and maintenance.
  • Assist with aspects of networking across all offices including firewalls, switching and wireless.
  • Manage outside vendors performing work for the IT department.
  • Any other tasks or duties as assigned.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Azure, AWS, GCP Certifications •M365 Certifications •CCNA, Network+ •ITIL, Security+
Education, Training, Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (IT) from a four-year college or university
  • 5+ years IT Infrastructure experience, supporting global 24x7 environments
  • 2+ Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP and Office 365
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Cloud platforms - Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Microsoft 365 - SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Intune, Autopilot, OneDrive, Security Center
  • Infrastructure - Active Directory, GPOs, DHCP/DNS, File/Print Services
  • Platforms - Windows Server stack, Linux, SQL Server
  • Security - Trend Micro XDR, Palo Alto, Tenable, Cisco Duo, Azure AD P1+P2 stacks
  • Networking - Cisco stack such as Layer2/3 switches, Azure VNET and VWAN, Ubiquiti Wireless
  • Backup - Veeam, Azure Backup and Site Recovery, Cohesity, Rubrik
  • Monitoring - PRTG, Frameflow, Azure Monitor
  • Automation- PowerShell, Azure CLI, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, JSON, Azure Automation

  • Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc. while working in Engineering laboratory, assembly areas and field service machine shop.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
