Together, we strive to build robust and scalable systems that enable Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.What you'll doIT Corporate Engineering is responsible for maintaining core systems Brex teams use to authenticate, communicate and collaborate, and the devices Brex teams use to access these systems. We develop SaaS first solutions to integrate and automate services developed by 3rd party vendors, the OSS community, and internal teams. We build tools to enable users to be self-sufficient, to improve visibility for troubleshooting and compliance, and to reduce toil for our IT Operations team. We act as SMEs and Tier 3 support collaborating with teams across the business to help them achieve their objectives.ResponsibilitiesManage and scale IT infrastructure, services and toolingWork with a diverse group of IT partners to optimize our provided servicesImplement new services in support of Information Technologies visionScale our services by implementing configuration as code via Terraform providers or API and/or building toolingOperationalize and upskill IT and its partners by producing documentation and leading training sessionsEvangelize best practices both internally and externally facingRequirements2+ years of experience working with Okta and Identity Governance and Administration2+ year experience with Github, Terraform and configuration as codeFamiliarity with software engineering development cyclesExperience working with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Golang)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of PythonStrong technical writing skillsPrevious experience in an IT support roleExperience managing macOS or Windows systems at scaleFamiliarity with Github Actions, Tines and LinearExperience with Google Workspace administrationCompensationThe expected salary range for this role is $108,800 - $136,000 USD. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
