We are hiring an IT Systems Engineer to ensure seamless operations, maintain government compliance, and support tools and infrastructure that drive exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will manage and maintain diverse computing environments, focusing on Windows and Linux systems. You'll oversee secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure operations, including network management, server maintenance, compliance with industry standards, and cloud integration. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with expertise in both Linux and Windows administration who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows- and Linux-based systems.
• Oversee Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC 2.0, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Design and manage network infrastructure and hybrid cloud workflows (AWS).
• Administer backup and recovery solutions.
• Maintain documentation and readiness for audits.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and workstation issues.
• Implement and optimize high-performance computing environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of IT experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX administration and Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with AWS services, virtualization platforms, and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or fields are a plus.
