Description:We are looking for IT Systems Engineers to join our Information Solutions team. The ideal candidates should be self-starting, curious, and excited about learning, implementing, and supporting a wide variety of technologies across the entire organization. Our Information Solutions department is on-site at our Ballston Spa, NY corporate office. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline IT and business processes. •PowerShell (or other) scripting experience strongly preferred. •Use of Microsoft Power Platform as an automation orchestrator.Windows Server and Linux Server Management•Deploy, configure, and maintain mostly Windows and some Linux servers. •Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations. Systems Security/Hardening •Implement cybersecurity frameworks as outlined by organizations such as NIST and CIS. Identity Management in a Microsoft Hybrid environment •Managing Conditional Access Policies, Configuring SSO Authentication to third parties.•User and Group lifecycle maintenance. •Ensure proper access control and permissions. Microsoft 365 Suite •Supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Entra, Teams, and OneDrive. •Collaborate with end-users to optimize productivity tools (Access, Excel, Word, etc.). VMware and Storage Technologies •Configure and maintain VMware virtualization environments. •Work with Dell Storage and Veeam backup solutions. Networking •Working knowledge of layer 2 & 3 networking principles. Mobile Devices & Management (Intune) •Securely manage company-owned and BYOD devices. Part of team that provides Tier 1/2/3 and after-hours support to a 24x7x365 operation. Beneficial Skills: •Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform •Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance •Azure DevOps/Git •Working knowledge of SQL queries and databases •Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Excel/Access macros and VBA code Ideal candidates would possess: •Positive, curious, friendly attitude. •Willing to work as part of a team. •Ability to prioritize and organize workload. •Can communicate with technical and non-technical co-workers. •Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, cyber security, or a related field preferred. •At least 3-5 years of experience preferred.
