Description The IT Systems Manager at Mid-Columbia Children's Council (MCCC) is responsible for analyzing and directing all Information Technology (IT) related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff and contracted vendors assigned. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer, communication, and information systems services for users throughout the organization. Due to the size of MCCC's IT department and the service area that it covers, the IT Systems Manager position is a working management position. RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to: MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP
Models leadership behavior and teamwork. Completes all employee Performance Evaluations for direct reports with 95% being submitted on time. In accordance with MCCC policies and procedures, delivers verbal warnings, written warnings, and performance improvement plans to direct reports as needed. Documents interactions and observations of staff throughout the year to utilize in employees' annual evaluation. Reviews employee timesheets multiple times per week to ensure they are filled out accurately and in real time; approves all biweekly timesheets on time. Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures. Participates as an active and effective member of the MCCC management team. Communicates and collaborates frequently with MCCC leaders to create positive action within the organization. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Oversees all technology operations and evaluates according to established goals and best practices. Manages all vendor contracts associated with IT. Monitors and analyzes the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology and security needs. Identifies the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and reports to senior leadership. FISCAL
Purchases efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software to meet each department's needs. Operates within budget. OTHER
Maintains the integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, and program operations. Ensures a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within all aspects of the program. Learns and complies with all MCCC policies, procedures, & State and Federal requirements. Reports all suspected child abuse and neglect as a mandatory reporter. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required
- Associate's degree in Computer Science

- A combination of direct position related experience and education may be substituted for Associate's degree requirement.
- 5 years of related experience, including 2 years of supervisory/project management experience.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and cleared state driving record check.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
