The IT Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across the organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring new systems, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure computer hardware, tablets, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests.
- Provide technical support across the company (in person or over the phone).
- Set up accounts for new users.
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
- Test new technology and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
- Help set up new software platforms and provide ongoing support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to provide hands-on support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
