We seek someone to help maintain Kingsmill's computer and network systems through troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks, and assisting employees and customers with IT-related problems. The ideal candidate will possess sound technical knowledge to understand and relay effective problem-solving solutions. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization
- Use of IT trouble ticket system, Request Tracker (RT), to address IT-related service requests from ticket creation through completion
- Escalate trouble issues to appropriate next-tier support vendors or internal support staff to resolve them cooperatively and efficiently.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
- Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
- Maintain and deployment of Point of Sale (POS) workstations.
- Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
- Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
- Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in IT support or IT technician roles
- IT Technician Certification or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of information technology troubleshooting tools
- Problem-solving skills and technical documentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and networks
- Practical experience with Internet and network security protocols
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Command of the English language is required.
- The position requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Must have a professional presentation and strong customer service skills
- Must have proven job stability through a solid work history
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:
- OPERA Property Management Solutions (PMS) system experience preferred.
- EZSuite Point of Sale (POS) system experience preferred.
