What You'll Do: The Corporate IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support to corporate end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. They will manage and maintain IT equipment, including installing and configuring desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. Additionally, they will assist in monitoring networks (LAN, WAN, wireless) and ensuring security and performance. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • System Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to ensure business continuity. Perform routine maintenance checks and update system backups.
  • Device and VPN Configuration: Configure and manage mobile devices, desktops, laptops, and VPNs in compliance with company policies. Ensure secure access for remote users and assist with remote troubleshooting
  • Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment, software licenses, and manage warranties. Assist with hardware procurement and disposal.
  • Security Compliance: Assist in implementing security protocols, including antivirus updates, data encryption, and employee awareness training to safeguard company assets and data.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for IT systems, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and network diagrams. Document issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive and professional attitude when assisting users, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You'll Need:
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) and its suite of applications is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Defender is a plus.
  • Proven experience in providing help desk support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and managing tickets.
  • Experience in monitoring system performance, conducting routine maintenance, and managing system backups.
  • Experience in configuring desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VPNs, and other peripheral devices.
  • Familiarity with different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues and configuring VPNs for remote access.
  • Experience managing IT inventories, tracking software licenses, hardware procurement, and disposal processes.
  • Knowledge of security protocols (e.g., antivirus, data encryption, access control).
  • Experience assisting with cybersecurity practices and compliance initiatives (e.g., employee security awareness, and antivirus updates).
  • Experience creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems, troubleshooting guides, and network diagrams.
  • Proven ability to interact with end users in a professional manner and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • A CompTIA A+ or Network+ Certification
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (a plus for network troubleshooting)
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, including the need to crawl under desks, furniture, and other office environments to install, troubleshoot, or maintain IT equipment.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods while performing tasks such as cable management, hardware installation, and troubleshooting network issues.
