Job Summary - This position's role, responsibility and work overview is the following; - To perform and complete the work described below in timely manner and properly. A. Engineering work - Network/System development work(onsite/remote) - PC kitting work(onsite/remote) - Network/System implementation work(onsite/remote) - Documentation work B. Maintenance work - Operate & manage the equipment/system that KDDIA has to manage. - Trouble shooting the issue/problem of the equipment/system that KDDIA has to manage. Essential Functions - Engineering work: Target(Network/System/PC) Development work: Following tasks should be performed under supervisor's and/or senior engineer's supervision and direction. For the system integration project, the following task must be performed and completed; - To create the equipment label. - To perform the configuration/setup work according the kitting procedure. - To ship out the equipment. - To record the configuration/setup work log. - To create the manual for the customer. Docs.) Work log/evidence, Test Result sheet, Admin/User Manual, Label etc. Kitting work: Following tasks should be performed under supervisor's and/or senior engineer's supervision and direction. For the PC kitting project, the following task must be performed and completed; - To create the PC label. - To create deployment images using imaging tools. - To perform the kitting work according the kitting procedure. - To ship out the PCs. - To record the kitting work log. - To create the manual for the customer. Docs.) Inventory Sheet, Kitting sheet, Admin/User Manual, Label etc. Implementation work: Following tasks should be performed under supervisor's and/or senior engineer's supervision and direction. For the system integration project, the following task must be performed and completed; - To perform the installation work(setup, racking, cabling etc.) on customer site/Datacenter according the procedure. - To perform the installation work remotely according the procedure. - To perform the test work on site and/or remotely. - To record and collect the implementation work log. Docs.) Work log/evidence, Physical Diagram, Test Result sheet etc. Maintenance work: Following tasks should be performed under supervisor's and/or senior engineer's supervision and direction. For the system issue/problem which KDDIA has to manage, the following action must be taken as a Tier2 according to the SLA; - To pay attention to the customer inquiries and/or system alarm. - To respond to customer inquiries via e-mail/phone and solving their issues/problems. - To collaborate with the vendor for solving the system issue/problem if needed. - To manage the inquiry/issue/problem from the beginning to the end and close the case. - To propose and/or improve the system in order to reduce the customer's issue/problem. - To propose and/or improve the monitoring system in order to resolve the issue/problem proactively.
