Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius, is looking for an IT Technician who will ensure the good running of IT systems and assist on technical duties of the Head Office and different outlets.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all system hardware and equipment, including servers, end-user workstations, printers, UPSs and other peripherals.Perform and oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software and peripherals.Implement and upgrade of server room security features, such as access control and environmental alarms.Update and maintain ITSM inventory (IT Assets).Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes and review system and application logs.Comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures.Ensure excellent service by providing effective telephonic or on-site technical support.Comply with the Data Protection Act 2017.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Information Technology or any other relevant qualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar roleCertification such as A+ or N+ will be an advantageGood understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantageHolder of a valid driving licenceOther RequisitesPositive proactive team player with a dynamic personalityEffective communication, organizational and time management skillsAbility to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail and results-orientedAbility to work under pressureAvailable to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours#J-18808-Ljbffr
